NOTE: This article is part of our sl.Wiki section.

  1. Please read the articles about Prerequisites before you start, when you haven't done it yet.
  2. Please check if an article with similar content already exists. If yes, think about expanding this article instead of starting a new one.
  3. When you add a new page, the starting point should always be the directory/sitemap page for section where you want to add the article. These pages are available from the starting/main page of this wiki. Edit this page and insert a link to the new article in a appropriate place.
  4. Preview the directory page. The link should now appear in red - if not the name you choosed for the article is already in use and you have to choose another name.
  5. After you saved click the (red) link and a page should come up which states that this article does not exist and if you want to create it: click the "edit" link.
  6. At the top add a link to the directory page using the "Directory Backlink" template. This template is described on the General Templates page.
  7. At the bottom now add a "Translation" template. This template is described on the Templates for Translations and Editing page.
  8. In between you can now enter the content.
  9. Save.
Hint
Note: You should use "Show preview" alot to see how the result looks like before saving. With the help of an external editor you can save the content on your local harddisc w/o adding it to the wiki when you can't finish all at once.
