  1. line: call template "Translation", namespace is "ET"
  2. line: This is the English version ("en") and its the original ("o"), this adds the page automatically to the global and language specific categories for the namespace.
  3. line: The Finnish version ("fi") is named "Hakemisto" and is already translated, but needs an update ("u"), since the original article was changed. The article is added to the Finnish "Translation needed" category and a link is added in the "In other languages" box in the lower left.
  4. line: The German version ("de") is completly translated ("t"). A link is added in "In other languages" box in the lower left.
  5. For all other languages the article is added to the language specifc "Translation needed" category.
Template to keep track of articles which need inital or additional translation. ATM 3 languages are supported.

Parameters:

  • 1. Namespace of the page
  • 2.,5.,8.,... tag which indicates the status of the translations. Supported atm are:
    • o - original language
    • u - update needed, the main article was changed, so the translations need revision.
    • t - translated, the main article is tranlated. Inserts a link to the "In other languages" box in the lower left.
    • n - no translation needed.
  • 3.,6.,9.,... the language code for the translation language
  • 4.,7.,10.,... the name of the arcticle in the translated language (which usually differs from the original name)

Template to display a message that a article is currently in process. The parameters are case-sensitive. Automatically adds the article to the global and the language specific "Work in process" categories.

Parameters:

  1. The ISO 3166-1 code of the target language (i.e. the language for the message). Possible language codes are:
    • en
    • de
    • fi

Template to translate the text "This article is a translation. The original is maintained in " to different languages. This template is used to point the userto the source article (which can be access via the "In other languages" box at the lower left). The parameters are case-sensitive.

Parameters:

  1. The ISO 3166-1 code of the target language (i.e. the language to display).
  2. The ISO 3166-1 code of the language for the original article.
